The Cornwall Minor Football Association (CMFA) began in 2005 with its
participation in the Upper New York State League under the "Cornwall Mustangs" logo.
In the fall of 2006, four teams from the CMFA joined the National Capital Amateur Football Association -NCAFA- as the Cornwall Wildcats.
Our Seaway Valley Spring House League has been a huge success, with over 300+ players participating every April, May & June. We experience continued growth with our partners Glengarry County, United Counties Football and the Russell Minor Football Association. Our combined spring league will see almost 850 football players from ages 5-19.
In 2010, the Cornwall Wildcats joined the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL). This CMFA franchise allows our 16-19 year old athletes to compete at the highest level of football in Ontario. Many of our OVFL graduates have been awarded scholarships to play football for Canadian universities.
In 2011, the CMFA added an indoor Winter Football League. The 130 athletes, at three age levels, are joined by three teams from Glengarry County. This 6-on-6, full contact league is played out of the Benson Centre in Cornwall and the Soccer Dome in Alexandria.
The Cornwall Minor Football Association continues to add new programs, and
to improve the quality of our existing programs. The dedication of our volunteers will keep the CMFA growing strong.

Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the young people of Cornwall and area in which to learn the fundamentals of football. We encourage team work, commitment and volunteerism. All of which we believe are necessary to the continuing development of our players.
